Third outing from DJ Preach’s Relic label ropes together three firing techno talents from far corners of the world- hence the title. Slovenia’s Valentino Kanzyani vamps up a Who-like sequence on ‘Homo Morealis’ which is then put through the electro car-wash over belting techno-pounding. Australia’s Darren Kay debuts on Relic with the dense, dark and pounding ‘Intel’, which bodes well for his upcoming Intec release. Finally, Preach himself uncorks a minimal flavour in his steaming vat of nasty riffage, heaving bass and robo-vocals. What with the mad chuff-chuff drop and unusual sonic touches, the man only goes from strength to strength, along with his label.
