Bristol’s Immerse presents young Canadian producer called XI, who provides a refreshing excursion into Detroit-style electro breaks with wafting keys and spooky voices, somewhat recalling early 90s UR in components. ‘Slippin’ adds more ingredients over the 808 beats, ranging from clattering percussion to swelling chords. Looks like another name to watch.
