Hailing from Cologne, and being one of the best kept secrets of the city, Tim Engelhardt presents his debut on the ever reliable Sincopat label with a stunning pack consisting of two original tracks and a huge remix by man of the moment, Vince Watson.
‘Fundamentals’ is a driving peaktime nugget produced alongside Andreas Lindemann from Hamburg, which has been a sure shot in my sets past weeks. Veteran Vince Watson demonstrates again his high class production skills taking the track to a new and valuable landscape by serving up a bassline to die for, brilliant synth workouts and a nice little break that leads to some magical moments on the floors.
To close the EP, Tim gets alone with ‘Star Safari’, a dreamy rich picture full of different layers and deep sounds. Now I finally know how a Safari up in the sky sounds like. Nice!
