Music Institute 1988 Part One – NDATL
Simple but warm tracks turning back the clock and not sounding stale for a moment.
Levon Vincent – Six Figures – Novel Sound
If Levon Vincent comes up with more Tracks like his output to date, i will have to build a little shrine for him. Amazing stuff.
Equalized 2
Even though one of the tracks on this 12″ starts sounding like there would be tons of kitchy dolphins in the video to it, it manages to take me away with its raw energy.
Randy Barracuda & Mesak – Adult Games – Harmönia
Hard to fit into my sets but a favorite of mine, scandinavian Hip Hop, or how they call it, “Skwee”.
Unit Moebius – Beat That Percolator – Clone Classics
I simply love how this track mashes the vocals of some of my early chicago favorites up into pure madness.
Bim Marx – Stronger – Stillove4Music
One of the tracks slows down to, well, veeeryyy slow and makes everybody grind their hips madly. Then going back to it’s original speed, its an explosion of pure energy for the dancefloor.
Morphine Doser 09
Just jamming away and putting your heart into it always works for me.
Lil’ Louis – Music Takes You Away – Dance Mania
I have to get up at night to put on the “Alternative Mix” because it doesnt leave my head. I wish all music could be that pure and straigth from the heart.
Norman Nodge – MDR 5
Simply funky, thats all i can say about this.
Loose Joints – Tell You Today – 4th & B’Way
Somewhere between hard disco dancefloor fun and childrens-tv-show themesong, this track puts a smile on everybodys face. Okay, only if you like disco. 🙂
