Richard Coleman

1. TV Rock ‘It’s been a long time’ (Axwell Remix) (Axtone).
Axwell back to his brilliant best with this dreamy techy reworking.

2. Shapeshifters ‘Chime’ (Martijn Ten Velden Remix) (Defected).
At first I was a doubter but this remix brings one of the biggest tracks of all time bang up to date and does the original justice.

3. Guru Josh Project ‘Infinity 2008’ (Klaas Remix) (Do it Yourself).
Harking back to the old days again but Klaas seems to be unstoppable at the moment and this one is getting plenty of support from the biggest of names.

4. Daley Padley ‘Bang The Drum’ (Richard Colman Remix) (SUESSE).
Ambient summer progressive re-rub of Daley’s biggest track so far this year.

5. DJ Joe K & Beto Dias ‘Born Slippy’ (White).
Another crowd pleaser but this one does everything right, harnessed around tribally beats.

6. Papini vs. Picottos ‘Gonna Get Yer’ (Big In Ibiza).
Warping rolling basslines throughout underpinned by tech minimal percussion. Really works well.

7. Style of Eye ‘Girls’ (Pickadoll).
One of the best producers over the last 18 months and finally coming through to larger audiences. This is only the beginning.

8. Ali Payami vs. Warp Brothers ‘Operation Blade’ (White).
Smashed on youtube by the likes of Angello & Ingrosso, pushes all the right buttons for me and excellent use of the sample.

9. Laidback Luke & Tom Stephan ft. Roman Anthony ‘Show’ (Neri & Milano Remix) (Stealth).
Been bubbling under since Miami but this mix is the one that does it all. Smooth blend of progressive melodies and tech house and electro basslines.

10. Cube Guys ‘Baba O’Reilly’ (Riley & Durrant Remix) (Data).
One of the unsung hero tracks of the summer from the ubiquitous Data records. R&D keep the vocal but twist the beats to perfection.
