1. Prince – ‘The One’ Shelter Mix – CDR
Love the production on this remix. The drum programming and bassline provide a nice groove throughout the track.
2. Darryl D’ Bonneau – ‘Revenge’ – Scott Wozniak Remix – Jellybean
Scott Wozniak continues to put out some of the greatest music. The deep bassline and strings drive this track. By far one of my favorite vocals from Darryl.
3. Ruben Mancias Feat. Wunmi – ‘Let it Rain’ Devoted Piano Mix – Devotion Records
My first collaboration with Wunmi. She’s an amazing artist to work with. The vocal is beautiful and thanks to Tiger Wilson, I got a nice piano solo over the top!
4. Afefe Iku – ‘Mirror Dance’ – Yoruba
Another slammin track from Afefe Iku. This is just as good as ‘Body Drummin’. Sounds great on a bangin sound system.
5. Kemal feat. Leslie Carter – ‘Can’t Help’ (Main Mix) – Seasons Limited
This is a beautiful vocal and well produced. Went crazy for it first time I heard it.
6. Robert Owens – ‘Deep Down Inside’ Shelter Mix – CDR
This a great record for the dancefloor. As soon as it drops, the floor goes crazy for the bassline. Rhythmic drums with lots of effects creep in and out of the track throughout, keeping it interesting. Hot song!
7. Darryl D’ Bonneau – ‘Sent From Above’ Dark Soul Dub- Devotion Records
Stephen Rigmaiden did a great job on this production. Track has a bit of the old school feel with enough musical elements to keep it current. Darryl’s heart felt vocal brings it over the top. Great vibe for every dancefloor!
8.Ralf Gum Feat. Monique Bingham – ‘Kissing Strangers’ Feliciano Vocal Mix – Gogo
Monique is one of my favorite vocalists. Everything she writes is very poetic and meaningful. She has a complex and uniquely artistic style of singing that is a challenge for most producers. Frankie did a great
