I Never thought in this life time they would ever make a tune as good as ‘Lola’s Theme’, simply stunning !!!!
3. Atlantic Starr – Circles (Joey Negro Extended Disco Mix) [Z Records]
The man at the top of his game goes in hard on one of the best Disco soul tunes ever written, amazing job !!!!
4. Belezamusica – Running Away (Dr Packer Remix) [Soul Love]
Great cover version of one of my all time fave soul & funk tunes by the mighty ‘Roy Ayers’ i was able to reduce the BPM and make it closer to the original vibe, less housey and more disco !!!!
5. Chaka Khan – I Know You I Live You (Late Nite Tuff Guy Rework) [Tuff Cut Unreleased]
Aussie king delivers a masterpiece right here from the great ‘Chaka Khan’ he often leaves me speechless and for that reason i have no words !!!!
6. Reverendos Of Soul – So Special (Micky More & Andy Tee Edit) [Groove Culture]
Great vibes on this one, builds and builds and draws you in, I have only just started to play it out and I am already getting a great response from it
7. Los Charly’s Orchestra – Sunshine (John Morales M+M Mix) [Imagenes]
The great ‘John Morales’ puts his spin on a great summertime vocal driven classic right here, one for those beach parties & festivals soon to be hitting australia !!!!
8. Grandmaster Melle Mel & The Furious 5 – White Lines (Dr Packer Remix) [Sugarhill]
I Decided to remix one of the first tunes that introduced me to music PERIOD !!!!! this has been smashing dancefloors worldwide on my recent travels and after a bit of ‘Red Tape’ this should hopefully be seeing an official release on the great ‘Sugarhill’ label on vinyl soon.
9. Casual Connection – Love Fallin’ [M2MR Records]
In a scene that is quite saturated with ‘below average’ edits you have to be very picky sometimes, this is certainly one of the better ones out there and a very well presented version of one of my fave old soul tunes, nice tight and clean production’
10. Prospect Park – Till You Surrender (DJ Fudge Disco Mix) [Z Records]
It would be safe to say this is possibly the biggest tune in my sets right now, ridiculously uplifting, powerful with perfect production, absolutely huge !!!!!
