Whenever I look for ‘techno’, I want something that gives me this authentic loopy feel like this track does. Of course it takes an old timer like Mark Broom to give me that! I still have vinyls from him. Rather than making the popular sound, this one takes it straight back to the roots.

Speaking of authentic sound! Robert Hood is still doing what he does best. Making these hypnotizing loops that always hint for more. Such great tools to fool around with!

What a funky, heavy and catchy track is this! I sometimes swerve to the very funky programmed, swingy techno. This would be one of the heavier ones. The repetitive vocal makes it very catchy!

I wasn’t kidding about Patrice Baumel! I love the original Dead End Thrills but this hypnotic flip by Patrice really made it one for my techno sets. I have a heavy deep bonding with this one.

It’s so funny this heavy techno banger uses a sample of the track that Steve Angello and I made called ‘Be’. Makes it very easy for me to play as people know me from this sample.

I don’t know if this is an old or new one but it’s always good to hear Luke Slater fiddling around in his deeper and weirder monicker. This is such an intriguing track. It’s not even in key! But it’s so tribally and out there, it captivates me.
