1. VANCO FT SISEKO PAME – CELA – VANCOMUZIK
This single is taken from my latest ep “Memories” and this record features an Afro pop artist vocalist Siseko Pame. This song really hits home because of that Afrocentric fusion between the Xhosa vocals, synths melodies and live mbira as the main driving element to the song. This is one record to look out for.
2. KASANGO FT JAMIE FALLON SMITH – ONE NIGHT – MADORAISINTHEHOUSE
This record is s “BOMB”. A dance floor killer, one of those songs that always smash the dance floor and gets the crowd going. Clearly KASANGO & JAMIE FALLON SMITH are soulmates & what a record. In my world of music; I am certain that this record will go down in the history of house music as a classic.
3. MANOO, MR RAOUL FT AHMED SOSSO – BARA – COMPOST MUSIC
I am a huge fan of Manoo, Mr Raoul and amazing Ahmed. It’s crazy when think about it that I used to reference Manoo when I started off music production and eventually I found myself. Thanks to him and most importantly working with him when he remixed my song years back too..priceless. As for me Bara is like a music time traveler machine, each time when I play you hear people whistling & it makes feel like I have lived before in the early days of humankind. This is a master piece indeed.
4. NOIS – MR JOE – RISE
“A machine-being” that what I call him. I have become close with the homie in the past years, ventured from just music production to events “Lytup” which is his vision. Nois is a hard song, one of those to keep the dance floor grooving and this is just one of a kind. One guy to watch out for in the dance scene.
5. DJEFF & VANCO FT RED ROBYN – FEELINGS – KAZUKUTA RECORDS
Feelings is a special song Taken from Djeff & Vanco “Tshelede” EP. The record hasb been getting a huge support from djs across the globe and the positive response on the dancefloor. Djeff and I have been working together for a few years, played together at Club Djoon, Paris in France earlier this year where we tested the song before it came out. The song really got amazing feedback and it was really cool to end our back to back set with this record.
6. THEMBA – KENSHO – HERD
The DON himself, Themba has mastered his art of fusing synth progression, melodies and the groove to the keep the dancefloor going. At a time when some dance scenes have become stagnant, its records like these that roar in peak hour. “Simply play the song for you to witness the damage.
7. VANCO FT MAVHUNGU – KONDELELANI – FOLIAGE RECORDS
This Foliage release has been receiving great support and has been featured on many different charts platforms like Traxsource by different djs/producers. Mavhungu is gold, her song writing and vocal is simply stunning. She is one artist to look out for.
8. ROCCO RODAMAAL, KAFELE – ITS OVER (ELTONNICK REMIX) – BAAINER RECORDS
This record is what I call the new age “dance soul tech” music. Eltonnick has been very consistent over the past years & he remains one of the best producers. I love how the vocals of this record compliment the instrumental as well as the arrangement of the vocals. What a superb record.
9. BOBSINCLAR, AFRICANISM – IMBALAYE (BODDHI SATVA ANCESTRAL SOUL EXTENDED REMIX)- YELLOW PRODUCTIONS
Fill up the Dance Floor, that’s what this record represents. Helmed by chanting vocals that call for the groove, Boddhi Satva’s remix of ‘Imbalayé’ pushes out with killer rhythms while pulling clubbers to the dance floor. Retaining the magic of the original whilst sporting new twists and turns, this edit will make the crowd go wild until the first morning light. For years Boddhi has become a big brother to me and we connect not only just on a music level but on a personal level & I will always cherish this big brother of mine not only for what he has done for me but the music culture itself.
10. PUNK MBEDZI – MILK & HONEY – UNDER BRIDGES
Punk is a slow poison & his work ethic is unmatched. For me this is the perfect record to begin a set a with, its smooth electric feel brings a different mood to the danc efloor. What a tune!
