Back To Mine With Myselor

Originally from Greece and now based in Basel, Switzerland, Myselor, aka Dimitrios Chasouras, has steadily built a reputation for multidimensional electronic music since launching the project in 2010. Across releases including ‘Evolution’, ‘Rebirth’, ‘Soul Power’ and ‘Intuition’, he has consistently combined intricate rhythmic design with cinematic atmosphere and conceptual storytelling, with his forthcoming album,  ‘Cosmic Expression’, representing the most ambitious expression of that vision to date. As he releases the third sampler from the album, ‘Visionary Flashes’, DMCWorld goes Back To Mine with Myselor.

Milt Jackson, Ray Brown, Mickey Rocker & Joe Pass – Sophisticated Lady (Instrumental)

Joe Pass’s playing has always been one of my favourite vibes. Combined with Milt Jackson’s beautiful vibraphone playing and the rest of the quartet, it’s the perfect way to wash away the day and slow everything down.

Human Touch – Anemos (To Taksidi Mias Notas)

Almost 20 years ago in Greece, during late summer nights, a good friend and I would sit on the beach with our guitars, watching the stars, listening to the waves, and having deep conversations. We jammed for countless hours, and Anemos was one of our favourite tracks to improvise over.

Yussef Dayes – Tidal Wave (Live From Malibu)

What a perfect companion this piece of music is. The excellent playing and the mix make the track sound absolutely perfect.

Pat Metheny – Spring Ain’t Here Pat Metheny

is one of my favourite artists and it is really hard to pick just one track of his. No matter how many times I listen to this track, I never get bored of it. And that groove…

Incognito – Black Rain (Instrumental Version)

The ultimate track to chill out with a sense of elegant/funky tripping. Organic music with an experimental and cinematic feel, combined with an excellent rhythmic drive.

Klute – There Is A Point When I first listened to Klute’s album The Emperor’s New Clothes back in the day, I was surprised by his multi‑genre approach. Years later, this track still sounds just as fresh and full of quality.

Jan Jelinek – Facelift A beautiful jazz/funk feel guided by minimal glitch drums. It’s just as enjoyable to listen to as it is to study from a music producer’s perspective.

Solar Fields – Monogram Monogram always brings back that sense of freshness and calm I feel when I’m out in nature — whether it’s playing quietly in the background or loud enough to take you on a journey.

Byron Metcalf & Mark Seelig – The Winds of Spirit (one) Music without tension but openness and space. It creates the perfect atmosphere in the background, supporting good company and meaningful conversations.
