New York City’s irrepressible Eli Escobar slams down this follow-up in excitable anticipation of the forthcoming long player, the inevitably titled ‘Happiness’. It’s straight four to the four madness with blazing hi-hats, punchy beats and classically tuned House keyboards all the way on ‘Chaka Khan, and it’s glorious. In fact, so much so you can close your eyes and be transported to the finest discotheque in the world. ‘Happiness Pt 2’ is less frantic though no less impactful with haunting, meandering keys loaded with atmosphere and pounding beats, leaving the excellent Disco sampling funkiness of the self-explanatory ‘Up All Night Pt 2’ to end on a high.
