After spinning live at the opening ceremony of the Athens Olympics (his set dubbed “The Parade Of The Athletes” is out now) the lord of the trance drops a new single that’s unfortunately not quite as striking as some of his past output. “Just Be” is still another dramatic stormer graced by the distinctive singing of (regular guest) Kirsten Hawkshaw. However the majestic Antillas mix steals the show by developing a richer chord progression that lifts the vocal right up. Wally Lopez has a go too but struggles to get to grips with the song’s euro feel.
