Head honcho Kris Menace has already kicked off this year in fine fashion with a WIB compilation celebrating a decade of one of the most respected and admired European house labels. As to the next generation he introduces us to Bruno Cardoso, also known as Xinobi. The talented musician uses rocks guitars day and keyboards, synthesizers and records by night, developing his own versatile and refreshingly honest sound. After several months of wowing crowds won import, Hed Kandi have now picked up ‘Day Off’ giving us once yet another opportunity to witness the magic and reach for the thesaurus for further superlatives. If you’re looking for a ballpark, think Daft Punk, Cassius and Alan Braxe rolled into one. Already a massive record for those in the know and one set to dominate Ibiza all summer long.
