And so it continues – with a handful of dance floor essentials already to their name: ‘Grand Steppin’, ‘You’re Nasty’, ‘The Motion’ and of course what for me was the best club track of 2009, ‘aNYway’, Armand Van Helden and A-Trak keep rockin’ on. This kitsch disco homage to the iconic star of movie and stage is built around a highly infectious vocal harmony – could it be Boney M? – and some equally retro steel drum loops before the madness ensues. Throw in quirky electro stabs, sci-fi effects, crowd chats and the party begins. Five minutes of complete outlandish musical fun.
