When was the first time you landed in Ibiza and what was the first club you ever went to?
“It was 1998 and I first ventured to The Ministry of Sound night when it was on the island and at Pacha. I was blown away by it all.”
What has been your favourite ‘club night’ you have been to over the years?
“It would be Sundays at Space. I remember one particular sunny afternoon with Laurent Garnier and Yousef which was arguably one of the wildest experiences of my life, it was fantastic.”
What is your favourite venue in Ibiza?
“No doubt about it, Pacha. I just think the whole Pacha experience is what Ibiza is really about.”
What have been your best Ibiza anthems you have danced to?
“One of my all time favourite records and one which I still Youtube now is Simon Free ‘At Last’. I think if anybody remembers this absolute classic record and just imagines Space before the roof will know exactly why I love this record.”
Tell us some of your favourite Ibiza tales…
” Being with Ganjai, a full on Brummy bad boy when he robbed the petrol station round the corner from Pacha, off my head naturally. Quite a profound experience it has to be said! Seeing a couple of naked men snogging on Salinas beach will never leave my head for some strange reason or sunbathing behind another naked man who was asleep and unbeknown to him, he had a hard on. Sleeping rough at some villa near Jesus and being bitten by thousands of Mosquitos. It was agony for days. Dressing up as a baby, wearing a bib and a bonnet and just hanging out with David Morales at Space, it was one of those holidays. Oh and lets not forget the losing of three cars in three days in my first week on the white isle. Or maybe getting absolutely arseholed with Dan Prince and Paul Conroy and then going Go Karting in Santa Eulalia for a laugh totally smashing up my cart. That was expensive. I could go on…”
Best DJs you’ve rocked out to?
“Basement Jaxx at Space, Erick Morillo at Pacha, Garnier and Yousef at Space – everyone for godsake – you just have to don’t you?”
You must have partied alongside some crazy people in Ibiza, who have been the craziest?
“Footballer Maradona at Pacha – that guy sniffs for South America.”
What is your favourite restaurant on the island?
“My favourite restaurant is going to be either Las Dos Lunas on the Ibiza Town to San road, L’Elephant in San Raphael or MacDonalds after a heavy one.”
I understand you know Isaac, owner of Eden – what’s he like?
“Issac is cool, he is totally laid back, very charismatic and charming. He’s no doubt equipped with a 14 inch cock. I hate him…”
Messiest night you’ve ever had there – which party saw you for days and a complete wreck?
“The messiest night I have ever had would be the closing party of Sundissential at Eden who I actually ran for a couple of seasons. Naturally we were having a great night after a really successful season and I was getting stuck straight into the Andy Farley. You get kind of carried away with the whole thing and eventually you do the lot – after about ten minutes right…?! So you go on the hunt for some more only for some smart arse Mancunian bar tender from Mambo to spike you with the biggest line of Ketamine you have ever seen, brilliant. Try announcing Rob Tissera on the Mic after that, I sounded like I had no teeth, brilliant.”
Is there anywhere in the world you have visited that comes close to Ibiza?
“There is nowhere else on the planet quite like Ibiza. I have not travelled to every known country in the world but I have been to a few places and I am yet to find somewhere where you can go to a different superclub every single day of the week, go to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world and look at the some of the world’s best looking women all on one island. I don’t know, is Paradise in the travel books?”
What did you make of the Manumission sex shows?
“The Manumission sex show? In one sentence, the sight of a spanish bloke sucking off his own huge knob?What can you say about that, other than the jammmy sod?”
Your favourite beach in Ibiza?
“Favourite beach – Cala Salinas, with a fruit cocktail at El Jockey.”
What do you think of the drink prices in the clubs in Ibiza?
“Well having just come back from Mykonos where I was greeted with a bill of 9 Euro for a bottle of Corona beer and 15 Euro for a cocktail – I would say that Ibiza ain’t that bad!”
I believe you have some big plans for going to Ibiza next year?
“2010 has got to be watching the World Cup over there. It will be great, no fat beer swilling pricks wanting to fight in the street, just sun tanned lovelies cheering on England on the beach. Can’t wait.”
Have you ever ‘pulled’ in Ibiza?
“Have I pulled in Ibiza, hmmm. Dare I answer this in case my girlfriend is reading this? Well only once!! I am either too fat and ugly or I was too busy dancing the night away… I know which version I prefer.”
Favourite hotel in Ibiza?
“Don’t get a hotel, get a villa. I haven’t stayed in that many hotels although I stayed at the Ocean Drive when I went pre season once so I guess I remember that one the most. It is fucking shite though, so I would suggest Pacha’s El Hotel. Get totally fucked in Pacha and fall into bed, excellent.”
