The Vinyl Factory and Virgin Records/EMI have released a special limited edition version of Air’s acclaimed new album, Love 2, which has been crafted in close collaboration with Air’s art director, Laurent Pinon and the band. This individually numbered, exclusive edition is limited to just 300 copies worldwide and is signed by Nicholas Godin and Jean-Benoit Dunckel of Air.
Housed in a luxurious silver mirrored box with the Air logo debossed on the front cover, the stunning set includes a gatefold, 200-gram, super-heavyweight 15-track double album with the songs from their new album especially mastered for vinyl.
Pressed on the legendary EMI 1400, the vinyl also features three exclusive new Air songs, along with an exclusive art print and an exclusive eight-page booklet containing a series of large-scale photographs by Luciana Val and Franco Musso, which have been commissioned especially for this album.
The purchase of the limited edition also includes a special download code for the highest-quality digital version of the album, featuring all the tracks.
The Vinyl Factory is an independent British company that aims to bring together art and music by creating ultra-premium handmade vinyl box sets in strictly limited quantities. This century-old landmark in British manufacturing now presses over 50% of the UK’s vinyl.
This box set collaboration is the latest in a series of high profile bespoke art and music limited editions created by The Vinyl Factory.
