When Fedde le Grand’s new website was unveiled 6 months ago, we told you work on it would never be finished and we meant it. There’s been a lot of tweaking; a lot of new things added and the community has organically grown at an incredible rate, aided by the launch of a really cutting edge iPhone app.
Anyone signing up to be a part of Le Grand’s online community will instantly benefit from more new features added this week. The site which was built with ‘community’ in mind takes the DJ/artist website way and beyond the standard currently on offer anywhere else.
First up – events! Everyone has their own agenda/calendar at feddelegrand.com and now you can add Fedde events you are attending, see who else is going, invite fellow community members to each event you are attending, and get the chance to win VIP tickets….to almost EVERY EVENT!
Using GPS technology, the site will automatically invite you to any event near your hometown, so you’ll never miss out on an appearance by Fedde… how smart is that? You’ll also be able to share these events outside of the community on other social sites such as facebook, blogs, hyves etc. While you’re at the events, you’ll even be able to review as it happens (iFedde users only), upload photos straight from the dance floor and share till your heart’s content.
This upgrade is small fish in comparison to what’s coming next. As Ibiza and the festival season rapidly creeps up on us, we’ll be unveiling some truly incredible ‘stuff’.
One last reminder… If you haven’t downloaded the free iFedde iPhone application then do yourselves a favour and do so now. It really is cutting edge and at the forefront of artist apps. iFedde has been received to high acclaim by app reviewers and journalists alike, and of course, as with the website – it’s merely a work in constant progress.
