Johan Bacto’s imprint comes up with another winner as Canada’s hot DJ Preach gets a turn at rattling the tribal techno cage. ’Under Pressure’ is batteringly percussive with its dominating drums swathed in a kind of creaking floorboard drone before the big drop heralds a total drum attack hoedown. ’Shadow’ is another turbotic tribal treat with an element of trouser in the riffs, even hoover hints. Atmospheric synths and strings inject a floatation element making for a major experience on a fuckoff system.
