Another day at the office for MMM, scrunching up a pickle of what’s pre-programmed and what’s the result of a 1210 being taken apart. Ticking a checklist of robotically-cut breaks, loops sped up & slowed, spun back and sent through the shredder, dialogue and snippets demanding disaster movies, radio jingles, Public Enemy-isms and chunks of cop shows all get along, and untold fader friction, ‘Bangzilla’ becomes a bit of a blur. So much so that napping for a second turns the whole thing into a one track, DJ-deconstructed dash around the rings of Saturn.
