Narcotic Thrust’s Faithless-styled chords greet a vocal equally dark and monotone (not unlike Sting on ‘Message In The Bottle’) on the Original mix that first appeared pre-Christmas on Free2Air. Crossing the Atlantic it now reappears on the DC label where the ubiquitous Mark Knight and Martijn Ten Velden crop up alongside venerable DJ extraordinaire Behrouz. The latter dons deep sub-bass and progressive synths, while the European duo add a user-friendlier brace of mixes fusing burbling acid with bleeping synths and chugging basslines intertwining over crescendos and breakdowns.
