Whether funky, epic or breakbeat-y, Audio Therapy seem to favour the kind of strong releases that will not fail to raise the roof in the northern clubs or on the Space’s terrace. On this new Viton & Stel double pack there are at least two inspired remixes to go for. The Nikola Gala rework is dramatic and powerful all the way (offbeat synths, guitar licks, arpeggiated seqs and dreamy pads) not too far off from the prog/trance of yesterday – think Oaky in Cream’s courtyard – (130 BPM). Another lush workout on the verge of driving electronica, the Christian Cambas Forgotten Dub is hypnotic yet intimate, with much distortion, racy breakbeats, effected vocals and disco-pop keys (also Kosmas Epsilon and Zamora & Dousk (JDK) remixes).
