Something Different have been pushing their envelope forward for some time now and this latest from Evan Iff is driving that thought just that bit further. Three new tracks go to make up the EP but if I can draw your attention to the title track whose emotive combination of deep pads, tough bassline and creative chord structure is simply first rate House music. Opening track ‘Likely’ moves in a different direction with squelchy bass and soulful vocals feeling frisky, while the more up-tempo ‘Nono’ neatly blends old-school Organ along with fizzy synth lines to result in an ideal of future/ retro.
