Having eagerly reached their tenth year in existence Cadenza release this excellent production from Martin Patino, which opens with the intriguingly titled: ‘Your Lips, Underwater’. Propelled by a free flowing funkiness via its fuzzy bass and loose knit percussion this soon establishes itself as a highly accomplished piece of music that doesn’t short change you on atmosphere. ‘Hunter’ again hits you with imaginative drums and this time with haunting vocals that cumulate in a rousing rendition of sublime piano and strings. Julien Bracht’s powerful remix proceeds to dig deeper into the extremes of dark bass and invigorated percussion while to all intense purposes defying an easy description, apart from that is to say it’s outstanding.
