What is this record? Is it for real? A phunky hybrid of breaks beats and Mr Oizo synth squeaks, the Logic’s Laugh mix bumps along but never quite takes off despite some tasty guitars. Logic’s Cut Up Vocal mix goes one step in the right direction. However Zed’s Ded Stadium mix charges into a full-on seventies rock assault (Thin Lizzy, Slade?) with a camp euro-pop flavour, kinda like The Darkness had made a record with Yello’s vocalist (or is that Boney M?). Record of the week!
