“Dark Matter” sees Dave Hedger aka West London Deep take a sparser route than on his previous outings. A big room bumping groove is powered by throbbing bass & offset with a fat stab, whilst subtle key riffs & effects work their way around distant peppered vocals, resulting in a heads down floor filler with carefully constructed breakdowns that go into reverse & percolate. “Dark Matter” has got an old skool vibe with a new feel, that definitely gives more bounce to the ounce.
