Little more than the boy Portnoy facing off with Lif and a drum thwack to “pulverise your pulmonary”, it’s ‘Syllable Practice’ that’s the appreciable work of art, Edan drilling himself over one of his typical funk stunts, driven by the fear of having to rebuke himself should he mess up. As for ‘You Suck’, punks should just accept their punishment.
