Germans too love that funky, repetitive French sound. Strikingly similar to a Crydamoure production (could it be the same flange plug-in?), ‘Texas’ doesn’t do a hell of a lot but is well produced/structured (you can always rely on a little kraut efficiency). The Original Rox (120 BPM) pumps hard that filtered disco vibe with a simple rolling groove and fat squelchy bass – hundreds of scratches give it a real block-party feel (also Alaiv Rerox remix, 119).
