This melodic hit-sounding number has been a slow burner since last November and is only now starting to gain wider attention and most importantly major label interest. Rightly so, as this cool yet highly commercial number hints at references to the likes of Everything But The Girl, and even Steely Dan, while retaining that Gallic je ne sais quoi. The vocal treatment also resonates to the same vocoder that gave Cher a renewed lease of life a few years back – but don’t let that put you off – this anthemic song all the better for it. In its Original mix this oozes of warmth and radio-friendliness, while a stack of new mixes (including Solsonik, Fishy Sounds and Serebe & Tarot) offer enough street savvy and variety to suit almost ever dancefloor. 2005’s ‘Another Chance’ me thinks.
