Hot on the heels of the excellent Mayaku 3 tracker comes more good stuff from Outergaze, this time hiring the undoubtable talents of Hans-Peter Lindstrom for more left leaning, melancholic dub disco. Taken from the forthcoming Outergaze double pack, ‘Violent Group’ combines all of Lindstroms signature sounds – extravagant leads, dramatic melodic sections and detailed, crafted production. The disco version takes a slightly camp, mid tempo route to space funk heaven, all that’s missing is the guest vocal from the Clangers.
