The haunting, minimal tech house original is completely rewired by Dennis Ferrer. Aaron David Smith’s yearning, crackly vocal is brought upfront for a sparse intro then propelled via insistent, beats, a squashy, cascading synth line that excites it and a chopped and transformed breakdown that implodes underneath the vocal around the 4 minute mark leaving the vocal and beats to carry you home to superb effect. And that’s why you’ll fall at Dennis Ferrer’s feet. Excellent.
