All girl, LA based guitar band, Glastonbury darlings, top ranked in BBC’s Sound of 2013 poll and later signed with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation management group, HAIM now get some heavyweight remixes for ‘Forever’ (the title track from the EP that launched their major label career in 2012). Ministry of Sound resident Patrick Hagenaar takes care of all things commercial big room. Mancunian TCTS moulds and shapes his reworking around some bamboo hit percussion and just-in-the-red plucked bass line to excellent effect. Giorgio Moroder delivers a oompah oompah radio mix that Fleetwood Mac, Lady Gaga and Ke$ha could happily take ownership of. When it comes to a catchy pop tune, Haim certainly know what time it is.
