The Wish has something of an epic feel about it which draws on all sorts of influences resulting in genuinely exciting music that’s a pleasure to listen too. Fuelled by great percussion, tribal beats and pulses of keyboard this sometimes haunting arrangement is little short of hypnotic at times, and is all the more powerful for it. King Corbra, follows pushing the drums to the foreground again this time aided by some fevered echo and edgy synth loops. The title track then receives two equally good remixes from Manoo. Firstly the Likes Apfelschorle Remix adds a pounding House flavour to it along with added cowbell and extra voices for good measure, while the aptly named Darkside version accentuates all the necessary elements to make that happen.
