Building greatly upon Def Harmonic’s deathly dull ‘Embrace’ without going easy on the same space shtick and clunking jump-skip-n-hop from the brainiac’s telescope, Jason Todd has more firepower to his arsenal this time round. Namely, a lunar funk buggy to ride from time to time, and with “James T Kirk bringing the noise from earth”, the chance to let his powered-up solar system slang slide into a gratifying, lopsided croon “feeding off the excess energy from shows”. Sharper performances in all departments eclipse the accepted heavy-going patches.
