Recycling to perfection the Planet Funk/Deep Dish progressive-rock sound, Heck & Vezina deliver a monster that’s got the potential to become one the summer’s balearic biggie (fat synths, guitar riffs, accoustic arpeggios, loud fx and above all a very decent song well structured and arranged). Peter McCowan is putting so much into his tracks that the rich atmospheres he lovingly crafts eventually seduce you. ‘Lonesome Horizon’ feels like classic Sasha, contemplative yet driving, ‘Baked’ is more pumping – funky trance stylee.
