Belgian media icon, Ozark Henry’s guitar strummed, bass distorted, ‘oh oh oh oh’ prompted Amaryliss Uitterlinden duet ‘I’m Your Sacrifice’ feels like the perfect soundtrack to an Apple or Samsung advert or a good sync track to an American telefilm or series like Gray’s Anatomy or Gossip Girl. Whilst it’s got a similar lyrical theme, it’s not quite got the sugar-coated bitter bite of Gotye’s ‘Someone I Used To Know’. Still, ‘I’m Your Sacrifice’ is light, bright and available recorded in french and english for that belgo–franco-anglo alliance. Better than moules frites.
