The French Sleaze are the Gallic duo behind Miami’s newest home of funky filtered dance – Cedric Gervais and DJ Pedro. They’re paired with another Sunshine State resident, Oscar G, the Murk man adding his mix skills to this minimal big room drum-rolling offering that owes much to that other South Beach resident, Robbie Rivera, and his near-trademark synth-sound. “Free your mind and your heart will follow,” exclaims the female vocal sounding like it may well have been lifted from Space Baby’s minor ‘90s club hit… The beats are equally stripped across a trio of mixes that also include an offering a piece from the label moguls – with Pedro’s Uplifting Dub the funkiest of all.
