AME
KUMA / ENGOLI
SONAR KOLLEKTIV

Ame’s “Kuma” is a sumptuous deep affair, that starts sparse & gradually builds with layers of percussion, distant pads & Detroit influenced stabs, but remains deep & thoughtful throughout. On the flip “Engoli” works it’s way around spaced out atmospherics & subtle rhythms, leading up to a riff that’s not to far removed from Manuel Gottsching’s Balearic classic “E2-E4”. Nice.
