From Alan Braxe’s recording home comes this equally portly Gallic delight that rides a funked up bassline and some rhythm-smart melodies that at times boarder on progressive, trance and old school rave genres without ever actually fully dipping their toes in any of them. It’s an odd combination, yet one that works surprisingly well and evokes memories of Prassay’s ‘Krvsin’ from a few years back. Only available as a thoroughly absorbing single-sided instrumental for now, but chances are there’s a name lurking behind this one that will be revealed once label copy and additional mixes are widely available.
