Great new release for 2015 with the Moscow-based Tantsui delivering this striking piece of music just in time to wipe out any remaining winter blues. The original version of, ‘No Mercy’ starts out with gritty beats but soon greets you with tastefully melancholy vocals, pulsating deep bass and a compelling production that merits your attention. Next, ‘Rainyman’ picks up the pace although remains true to their conviction with more of those icy-cool vocals plus this time jazzier percussion complimented by warmer layers of synth. Leaving ‘Someone To Play’ to finish with punchier rhythms and vocals which don’t quite sing but which clearly say all they need to.
