‘Constant Sound’ is Back to Basic’s and We Love resident Jon Woodall and Burnski label lovechild – Your Love is a slick combination of Burnski’s slick, phat and hyper-jacked production, drenching you in the soulful vocal by driving through on some rather large rainstorm-sounding hi-hats and rides. It’s digs in, delves deep and burrows through your brain. Trus’me – blazes the bass, strings this around some intricate, syncopated off-beat patterns then lashes it all to some psychedelic effects just to enhance your trip. Steve O Sullivan jacks on the housier side with a repetitive vocal earworm that bounces more than a tequila worm on a line. A fine first release.
