As poetry: ‘Youse a sexy mothasucka, I would like to meet your mother’ may not be up there with the best of them, but both of the killer instrumentals included here most certainly are. Try either the addictive ‘2007 Instrumental’ and/ or the ‘Alternative Instrumental’ for a slice of 1988 inspired Acid heaven. The former loops agitated Roland 303 over sizzling hi-hats and classic drum machines to fullest effect, while the later adds fuzzy bass to the make-up letting the arrangement loose on funkier tom-tom punctuated percussion.
