German label Caus-N-ff-ct steps back to 1997 to reignite this irrepressible House gem from Mike Dunn. First up is the excellent Jerome Sydenham version which adds nervous piano to the insistent drums transforming,’ Can I Turn It Up’ into a self-fulfilling prophecy. Vision Factory provide the second first-rate remix, though this time sounding more future orientated with brash basslines and a winning dancefloor arrangement. Last but clearly not least is the Martin Brodin version who compliments it all via sassy euro-disco syncopation and sparkling percussion.
