You may already be familiar with the artist via his Ibiza Global Radio shows but if not then this debut for the Crosstown Rebels offshoot will more than whet your appetite. The title track, ‘City Cemetery’ sets up brooding soundscapes employing dark bass tones, moody synths and drums, along with evolving vocal snippets that eventually resolve into an explanation. A tougher feeling Dub compliments the original version while the more impressive and picturesque, ‘Midnight Gardens’ completes with Forrest’s breathy vocals only heightening the tension inducing electronics.
