Great release from Kaato and an excellent production from Björn Wilke go to make up this latest EP. Kicking off big time with the addictive, ‘Fat Lady’ the music combines irresistible Acid infused basslines together with hypnotic synth notes and rather nasty lyrics providing a sleazy angle to the arrangement. ‘Drones’ continues with a deeper exploration of sound as haunting background elements are set against shuffling percussion, while the tougher more probing ‘Transfer’ ends in style completing with darker low-end tones and hot sprinkles of synthesized sound.
