I love Ciara, so it pleases me to say that she sounds even better in L.O.O.P’s cheeky rewiring of ‘1,2 Step’. It’s a funky, synth laden, floor filler with a real drum kit sounding drum fill at the drop that will sound great on the housier floors and rock it on radio. A job well done. LOOP and Laserjack’s ‘Don’t Stop’ whips the sweaty ghetto bass, synth sleaze, dark shadows and the irreverently pitched Pussycat Dolls ‘Dontcha’ vocals into a funky dance off that should keep every holiday resort dancefloor packed to the rafters with people pokle dancing really badly once again. It’s commercial fun but all in the best possible taste.
