Great production from Kevin Knapp whose sizzling arrangement of electronic sounds feels positively addictive, yet surprisingly uncomplicated in the process. It’s all down to the driving drums, tinged with just the right amount of funkiness, plus the treated vocal edits and big fuzzy bassline that captures your attention somewhat immediately on ‘Heft’. Next comes the tougher, ‘Not Your House’ which this time features more of Kevin’s cool, commanding vocals and a sting in the tail synth stab backed up by rough, tough beats. Again, not overly fussy but both of these tracks hit home with a definite bang.
