The long running Neurotraxx label now looks to its boss men for its next EP. The boss men are the accomplished talents of Aki Bergen and Richter and here they cook up three brand new tracks that all offer something slightly different but that all excel at making you want to dance. A dub mix of one of the cuts is also included and overall this is a fine EP as a result. The opener is Nights & Days, which is a bubbly, feel good, emotive house track with nice loose lines, colourful synths and a watery atmosphere that really sucks you in. It’s full of great design and has lots of space inside, which is always key to a good track. Next up is Sacrifice, featuring the vocals of Ken Rosen. This one is a little deeper, more mysterious and late night and is full of spooky lines and harmonic glows. Musical and lush in every way, it has a great sense of feeling and authenticity and the whispered vocals add a nice dream like aspect to the whole thing as they shimmer and shimmy above the beats. As well as the vocal-less dub there is also South Point. This one is more driven, with big hits, dark and rumbling bass and slick percussion that really helps oil the groove. In all, a wicked second EP from this fine pair.
