Songs that stand out from the rest, are hard to find these days. That’s a matter of fact! So you can catch me jumpin’ around in the office if such a track makes its way into my inbox.
The new collaboration between Spanish Berlin-based brothers Kyodai and Daudi Matsiko on Exploited is exactly such a track.
Daudi Matsiko makes Bleakfolk – uplifting folk songs. With roots in Uganda and the UK, Daudi’s love affair with music began at the tender age of 8 and you can feel the deep encouragement of that mission in every part of the song. After meeting at a festival last year, Kyodai and Daudi decided to work together and after swapping files the Kyodai brothers decided to rework the Original acoustic version of ‘Hoston In The Blind’ into a house monster that still pays great respect to the Original by using many elements of it.
This is memorable Electronica from this magic collab, would love to hear more of that!
