For me this years tune is Bruno Mars – 24K Magic. I love how they bring back the funk and the musicality!
Album:
To be honest I had to look up which albums were released this year and that’s a lot. But I think the best album is Drake – Views. I just like the vibe and the amount of good tracks on it.
Remix:
Best remix I’ve heard is Knife Party & Tom Morello – Battle Sirens (RIOT Remix). Because this is just INSANE!
Label:
Atlantic Records. They brought out 24k magic and several other hits!
Producer:
Skrillex, I think many will agree with me on this.
Festival:
Mysteryland in Holland. It’s a big big festival and I can enjoy it too from my backyard.
Music Conference:
Ultra music conference. This is where everything happens and people introduce there new stuff.
Radio Show:
I don’t listen to radio shows, just Spotify. Or does that count too?
Mainstage DJ:
Afrojack. People will say it’s because I’m signed to him, but that doesn’t take part in my opinion. There is just so much energy and variety in his sets.
Resident DJ:
To be honest, I don’t know resident DJ’s. Sorry!
Club:
Omnia Las Vegas. It’s the sickest club I’ve ever seen!
New Studio Equipment/Software:
Fabfilter-R. Such a cool reverb and easy to use.
Personal highlight of 2016:
Playing at Omnia Las Vegas. What a surreal club it is.
Your ambition for 2017…
Hmmm this is a though one. Maybe it’s a little to far-fetched but I hope to score a Gold or Platinum record in 2017. Let’s get back to work right?
