1. Hyper – Twisted Emotion (Caged Baby remix) (Kilowatt)
My new single with a tidy bunch of mixes but the Caged Baby rework JUST tops the tree for my sets!
2. Vandal – ‘Obey’ (Lot 49)
The next club anthem from the English Welshman with the cool name! Can’t go far wrong with this track.
3. Groove Diggerz ‘Good Times’ (Precision Cuts remix) (Even Flow)
Super warm rolling bassline and PC’s trademark deep sound come together to bring us a standout track; showing it doesn’t have to be peak time anthems all the way.
4. Born Tricky & Mr Frisk ‘Let Me Out’ (Hyper remix) (Spin Out)
A couple of new kids on the block weigh in! The remix is a Techno injected Breakbeat affair running at 125 bpm with dirty stabs and a freaky vocal.
5. Soulwax ‘E Talking’ (Falsed Prophet edit) CDR
You’d have thought that an edit would have been made easier to mix than the original!? Not so; but where theres a Will theres a way! Big tune for me!
6. ? ‘Rage Against The Terror’ (CDR)
Noisy, noisy, noisy. Rage Against The Machine gets a going over with Public Enemey. The first political bootleg? It’s party time any way you look at it!
7. Hyper ‘We Control’ (Kilowatt)
The single with Future Funk Squad on the mix. Rocking out to say the least!!
8. Velours Brothers ‘Punk Rock’ (Westway)
Just ripped this apart for my new mix CD. Great track which bounces along with thunderous guitars thrown in the mix.
9. Way Out West ‘Apollo’ (General Midi remix) (CDR)
Probably General Midi’s best ever remix. Say no more!
10. Sarah McLeod ‘He Doesn’t Love You’ (Hook n Sling dub) (CDR)
This is a House/Breaks stormer and no mistake. Doesn’t sound like much until it’s on the big system but watch it go..
